The Corporate Enforcement Authority has welcomed the publication of proposals for the introduction of new powers and offences under the Companies Act 2014. The proposals are contained in the General Scheme of the Companies (Corporate Governance, Enforcement and Regulatory Provisions) Bill 2024.
