Tom Murray is Managing Partner and Head of Insolvency at Friel Stafford, the corporate finance, insolvency and forensic accounting firm, part of the ifac group, a top ten accounting and advisory firm in Ireland.
Tom is a Chartered Certified Accountant, a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant. He is a former Chair of CCAB-I and is currently a Council member of Chartered Accountants Ireland, having previously served on the Councils of both ACCA and CPA Ireland.
Tom has practised as an insolvency practitioner for many years and has acted in a substantial number of liquidations, examinerships and SCARP processes, including several high profile appointments, with a particular focus on the SME sector. His wider practice encompasses corporate finance, where he specialises in company valuations, and forensic accounting, where he acts principally in family law proceedings.
